In case you missed the great composer Hans Zimmer performing his best work at the concert known as Revealed in london on October the 10th and 11th 2014, here are some of the highlights of the show.

Breaking Bad Composer Dave Porter’s Studio

Breaking bad was epic in all areas such as the acting performance and the story telling. However, the music for this show had a dark edge consistent with the philosophy that Walter White’s alter ego ‘Heisenberg’ soon made his own. Dave Porter shows us how the music was made and which instruments were used. I was shocked to learn that the theme was made using a Japanese instrument, a Koto.

It just goes to show that you don’t need an expensive studio or a group of engineers for you to make good music. All you need is a good hear and dedication. Here’s Dave talking about his studio.

I am particularly in love with Memoirs of Geisha composed by the legend himself, John Williams. The main melody of the sound is from the Cello.
